1. Arrival and Check‑in
- Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled class.
- Check in at the front desk before entering the studio rooms.
- First‑time students should arrive 15 minutes early to complete necessary forms and meet the instructor.
2. Footwear and Attire
- No street shoes are allowed on the dance floor. Please bring clean, indoor‑only shoes.
- For Zumba, Hip‑Hop, and Fitness classes, supportive athletic sneakers are recommended.
- For Latin partner classes (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue), smooth‑soled shoes that allow pivoting are suggested. Dance heels are optional.
- Avoid wearing jewelry that could cause injury to yourself or others.
3. Hygiene and Cleanliness
- Please arrive clean and fresh. Strong fragrances or body odor can be distracting in close‑contact partner dances.
- Bring a small towel if you tend to sweat heavily.
- Wipe down any equipment (weights, steps) after use with the provided sanitizing wipes.
4. During Class
- Follow the instructor's directions at all times. Modifications are welcome, but please do not disrupt the class.
- Use of cell phones during class is prohibited. Please silence or turn off your phone.
- Be respectful of all students and instructors. Negative comments, unsolicited corrections, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
- In partner classes, you may be asked to rotate partners. This is a standard practice to enhance learning. If you prefer not to rotate, please inform the instructor before class.
5. Safety
- Listen to your body. If you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort, stop and rest. Notify the instructor if you need assistance.
- No gum, food, or open drinks (except water in a sealed bottle) are allowed in the studios.
- Report any spills, hazards, or injuries to studio staff immediately.
6. Personal Belongings
- Caliente Dance Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please leave valuables at home or keep them with you.
- Cubbies are provided for your belongings but are not locked. Do not leave items unattended in common areas.
7. Children and Guests
- Children must be supervised at all times unless they are participating in a scheduled class.
- Spectators and guests are generally not permitted inside the studio rooms during class. Please wait in the lobby area.
8. Zero Tolerance Policy
Caliente Dance Studio has a zero‑tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or any form of aggressive behavior. Violators will be asked to leave immediately and may be banned from the studio without refund.
9. Compliance
By attending classes at Caliente, you agree to abide by these Studio Rules. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of studio privileges.
