We believe dance is for everybody. Here's how we make Caliente welcoming to all.

Caliente Dance Studio is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all students, staff, and visitors. We continuously work to improve our facilities, programs, and digital presence to meet the needs of people with disabilities.

Facility Access

  • Wheelchair Accessible Entrance: Our studio has a ground‑level entrance with no steps. A ramp is available for the front door threshold.
  • Accessible Restrooms: We have an ADA‑compliant restroom with grab bars and sufficient turning space.
  • Wide Doorways and Clear Pathways: All studio rooms have wide doorways. Aisles and pathways are kept clear of equipment to allow navigation.
  • Parking: Accessible parking spaces are located directly in front of the studio at 1901 SW 8th St.
  • Seating: Chairs are available in every studio room for those who need to rest or prefer seated exercises.

Class Modifications

Our instructors are trained to offer modifications for different abilities. Whether you need low‑impact options, seated variations, or alternative movements, we encourage you to speak with your instructor before class so we can support you.

Website Accessibility

We strive to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. Our efforts include:

  • Using semantic HTML to aid screen readers
  • Providing text alternatives for images
  • Ensuring sufficient color contrast
  • Supporting keyboard navigation
  • Using clear, readable fonts and layouts

Service animals are welcome at Caliente Dance Studio. Please ensure your service animal is under control and does not disrupt class activities.
